The St.-Petri-Kirche in Dortmund is an Evangelical church in the city centre, directly on Westenhellweg. This three bay (or truss) construction was begun in the early 14th Century. The church is a typical example of a Westphalian hall church in High Gothic style. Today we are able to appreciate again the church’s original, medieval form, with its almost quadratic layout.
