The City Council of Essen is one of the greatest city halls in Germany. The building is located in the city. It was built to plans by the architect Theodor Seifert Darmstadt. 1979 was the official opening. The Town Hall is 106 meters high. By the 22nd Storey, visitors will have a panoramic view over the city and parts of the Ruhr.
