Canada is a country in North America. In terms of surface area, it is the second largest country on earth. Urban conurbations are found exclusively in the south, however. To the east, Canada borders on the Atlantic Ocean and to the west, the Pacific Ocean. In the north the country also borders on the Arctic Ocean. Canada’s only land border is with the United States of America.
